Lee Fidler has been a professional artist for approximately 40 years. She works in watercolour, graphite and more recently, coloured pencil and pastels. Her approach to her paintings and drawings is representational in style and her subjects includes flowers, songbirds, wildlife and domestic pets. She became a member of Artisans Northwest (formerly The Art and Craft Market) in 1976 and over the years has participated in several group and one man shows.
She has shared her passion, knowledge and experience with the students she has taught for the past 20 years. Lee has had work published in “Watercolors without Boundaries” by Karlyn Holman. She has also appeared in “Hidden Treasures 3” by Anne Kullberg and Colored Pencil Treasures 6 (each following an entry of over 800 artists world wide) and, as well, has had an article and several images published in the November 2016 issue of Anne Kullberg's Colored Pencil Magazine.
