Versatex

Versatex Inks are ideal for silk screening, stenciling, or block printing. Versatex has a thick and creamy consistency. Versatex Printing Ink is ready to use from the jar. If the consistency is too thick for optimal use it can be thinned with water. The colors are intermixable, water soluable and transparent. Versatex is heavily pigmented but will not change the texture and softness of your fabric, nor wrinkle or bleed on paper. These semi transparent inks are most luminous on light colored fabrics. For overlays increase transparency by adding VP1200 Versatex Printing Extender. They must be heat set for permanency and wash fastness on fabric. For best results on paper, use cotton rag papers suitable for serigraphy.

Versatex Extender are available in 4oz.jars-$6.80
Water based, non-toxic, soft hand, permanent, lightfast. Cleans with soap and water. Apply directly to fabric, wood, leather, paper etc.. Applications: silk-screening, mono-printing, brush with stiff brush, stencilling, stamping, and block printing. Add water to thin if desired. Standard colours are semi-transparent. Metallic colours and opaque white will print over dark tones. For long production runs, or hot dry conditions Screen Life may be added to retard drying.

Slows drying when added to water based paints. Screen life acts by preserving water retention thus allowing longer working time while printing. Screen Life is used primarily during long print runs or when printing in hot and dry conditions. Screen Life aids in the ease of screen cleaning.

Versatex Fixer are available in 2 oz. bottles-$6.90
Fix your heat setting problems with Versatex Fixer. No heat setting necessary when you add Versatex fixer to Versatex Fabric Paint, Printing Inks or Airbrush colours. Fixer is used to increase wash fastness.
