Acrylic Paintings
Linda is a graduate of Lakehead University. She was born and raised in Port Arthur, now called Thunder Bay. Much of her adult life has been spent living in other regions of Canada before returning to Thunder Bay. Linda has been experimenting with creating movement through the use of her media. She has layered small dots of tinted oil paint over a background of acrylic.The effect is mesmerizing and marvelous to behold. This style of painting is rooted in Linda's interest in surfacing rhythms.
